Our Wound Care Specialist is trained extensively to provide the highest level of care across all care settings, resulting in quality wound care consistency, increased patient satisfaction, reduced hospital  readmissions, and minimized costs to the community. Our Wound Care Management Program uses cutting-edge technology and advanced wound care products to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Overseen by a Wound Physician, our program can maximize the quality of life for a wound care patient through weekly rounding visits and coordination with a Registered Dietician and our team of rehab professionals.

The Lev at San Antonio’s caring professionals specialize in adult and senior care therapy. They are the key to getting residents back to their normal lives as quickly as possible. We have the capability of providing individualized Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies as often as the resident’s physician recommends it. Our advanced therapeutic modalities address a wide range of orthopedic, neurological and other disabilities, diseases and conditions, including—joint replacement, neuromuscular disease, cardiac conditions, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), dysphagia, fractures, post-surgical complications, and amputations.

Our Advanced Pulmonary Program is designed to assist patients with respiratory conditions transition from the Acute Care setting to the next level of care while reaching their highest practical level of function and reducing the risk of re-hospitalization. Under the direction of our Pulmonologist and Respiratory team, each resident is evaluated and treated individually with a very a specific care plan. Our holistic approach is designed to improve comfort, safety, strength, endurance, participation of daily activities and improve the overall quality of life. The care plan is created with input from each healthcare discipline, the patient, the patient’s family and updated as needed depending on the patient’s progress. Conditions managed include oxygen therapy, COPD, acute and chronic tracheostomy care, pneumonia, chronic emphysema, asthma, sleep apnea, CPAP and BIPAP.

Our on-site dialysis program here at The Lev at San Antonio helps reduce the stress associated with being transported to care and enhances the residents’ lifestyles with more time for social activities, no missed meals, appointments, visits, as well as recovery in the privacy of their own room after treatment. The on-site Dialysis nurses, technicians, social workers, dietitians, and nephrologist work closely with the community’s clinical team and resident’s physician to ensure the highest continuity of care. Onsite dialysis may help give you peace of mind that will deliver the same safe, high-quality therapy as it provides in the outpatient dialysis center in a smaller home-like setting through treatments that are customized and continuously adapted to each patient’s unique health needs.
